A portal created for the SMART Recovery volunteer community
We are excited to announce that we have been working hard on the creation of VolunteerHQ – a portal created for SMART Recovery volunteers. We will be announcing its Phase 1 launch soon – please watch your inbox for more details!
Some of the ways you will first use this portal will be to submit volunteer registration forms (VRF) and meeting change request forms. In order to do so, you will need to create login credentials. We will include detailed instructions for doing so with its launch.
We will also be updating and adding helpful resources such as promotional materials, training materials, tools, useful links, and information to help you start and run better meetings. We will also use the portal to share announcements and important information relevant to your volunteer efforts, with a means to regularly communicate with National Office, as well.
In the future, we plan to use VolunteerHQ as a means to gather and highlight volunteer efforts and news about SMART Recovery in communities around the country. We will also use it to gather statistics on meetings that will help inform our overall impact and meetings and/or facilitators that may need help to keep their meetings running.
If you have any questions or suggestions as we work on this project, please contact Melina Gilbert, Volunteer Outreach Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
