THANK YOU! To everyone who contributed to the JP Schneider Volunteer Fund, your generosity helped SMART surpass the $10,000 goal. Volunteer Month ended with a bang at $19,000! These funds train new volunteers to run SMART meetings and will empower others to recover from addiction.

April is Volunteer Month!

Volunteer Month is a nationally recognized month for nonprofits to recognize and thank volunteers for their efforts, and to encourage others to join our volunteer team.

THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS

This year especially, we have been amazed by the work our volunteers have done, and are continuing to do, in local and online communities. THANK YOU to our volunteers for all you do to make SMART available for others!

RECRUITING MORE VOLUNTEERS

As part of this year’s Volunteer Month, we have a goal of recruiting at least 100 new volunteers to support the growing demand for SMART Recovery meetings.

Local Meetings: Volunteers are needed to facilitate meetings in your area.

Online Community: Volunteers are needed to act as message board helpers, meeting helpers, and meeting facilitators in the SROL community.  [Click for full descriptions]

Support the Volunteer Training Scholarship Fund

For Volunteer Month 2020, our goal is to recruit 100 new volunteers and raise $10,000 to fund scholarships for their training.

TRIPLE your impact! The JP (John Pol) SMART Volunteer Fund has made a large gift supporting Volunteer Month and will be matching donations made between now and the end of the fundraiser with a 2-1 contribution.  Your gift of $100 will be matched by an additional $200 from the JP Schneider Scholarship Fund, for a total impact of a $300 gift to provide volunteer training,

Your gift to support volunteer training will be put to work immediately to train a volunteer to start a new SMART meeting.

Your gift today will bring us closer to our goal–three times as fast!  Thank you for supporting self-empowered recovery!
