9 Months
Hi all! I’m checking in today to document my progress, update the status of my recovery, etc. I didn't know what to expect or how I would feel at this point in my recovery, but I am so glad I made the choice to turn the idea of maybe one day, into day one. It has been a bumpy rollercoaster ride, with lots of loops/ups/downs/turns, and it has all been worth it. As more time passes, I find myself feeling more and more like me; back to being the awesome wife and dog mom that I am, kicking *** and taking names at work, volunteering, and choosing to just enjoying life because life is short.
Months – 9 | Days – 274 | Meetings attended – 521 | HOVs/CBAs/LBWs completed – too many to count
Mooring Lines – Self-Care, SEN (sleep, exercise, nutrition), Meetings, Gratitude lists, Mindfulness, VACIs, Ta-Da lists, Volunteering, Laughter
Favorite tool(s)– Hula hoop & Power of Choice – making a choice, accepting it and all that comes with it, embracing it and enjoying it. No matter what I choose (side B, ME, joy) I’ve come to learn that the P’s are key to my success - planning, practice, patience, persistence…
Take care of your self-care, y’all!

P.S. Sushi and sparkling cider for dinner to celebrate ;)
