Each breakout session will include a variety of discussion topics and you will have the opportunity to attend two sessions at this year’s conference!

CEUs are available for this event for an additional fee of $12.99 (collected onsite). Request forms will be distributed at the conference for 10.75 contact hours (CEUs) approved for addictions counselors by NAADAC. Accepted by many social work and behavioral health boards. Meet SMART Recovery board president, Joe Gerstein, and listen as he opens the conference with his annual President’s Welcome. Plus, meet SMART Recovery’s new executive director, Susan Licate as she addresses conference attendees with an energizing and inspiring message.

PLUS — We’ll have the exciting opportunity to learn from Robert Meyers, as he explains how concerned significant others can support a loved one with an addiction using CRAFT – (Community Reinforcement and Family Training), a significant component of SMART’s Family & Friends program.

Also, you’ll want to catch an interesting talk from SMART volunteer, Matt Robert, as he presents Ancient Brains, Modern Minds: causes and conditions of addiction and paths to recovery.

Mollie Waring will share her success of helping to grow meetings through her talk: Face-to-Face Facilitator Training Project in Rehab.

Begin your conference experience with us as we explore The Heard Museum. This optional activity is available to you at the discounted rate of $20 per person. Known for its award-winning exhibits, the Heard Museum uses its collections and first-person voice to tell the stories of American Indian cultures while at the same time celebrates the diverse achievements of today’s artists. Experience the Heard’s many exhibition galleries that include both ongoing shows and changing exhibits featuring an array of artists and art forms.
Transportation from hotel to the museum will depart at 2 p.m. and will arrive back at the hotel at 5 p.m.

Our airport shuttle is complimentary and is available for airport pick-ups 24/7. To request pick-up from the airport, please call the front desk at 480-967-1441 or by using the courtesy phone in baggage claim.
