If you're ready to dive right in and create your first eBay Giving Works listing, let’s walk through the steps you'll need to follow – it’s easy, and you'll soon be an expert!
Click on the "Sell" link on any eBay page—this will take you to the Sell Your Item form. Be sure to select the "Customize Your Listing" option to see the "eBay Giving Works" section!

In "Choose how you'd like to sell your item" look for the "eBay Giving Works" section. (Don't see it? Click on the link that says "Add or remove options" and put a check in the box next to "Donate a Percentage of Sale.")

Select “SMART Recovery ®” to benefit from your sale. (You can find SMART by searching in the “nonprofit name or keyword” box by typing “SMART Recovery”)
Choose a percentage of the final sale price to donate ( there's a minimum donation of $5 if your item sells)
Review and accept the eBay Giving Works Terms & Conditions —you'll only have to do this once!
Complete the Sell Your Item form and submit your listing!
Now you're all set!

Once your eBay Giving Works listing is live:
- ·The charity icon
will appear next to your listing's title in eBay Search and on the item page. - ·Information about SMART Recovery and the amount you are donating will appear in your listing.
These features make eBay Giving Works listings stand out, and they may increase your bids and/or final sale price.
Minimum $5 donation
eBay has set a minimum donation amount of $5, regardless of what your item sells for. This is to ensure a meaningful gift will reach SMART Recovery. When several items from a single listing are sold, the minimum is applied only once.
