Scholarship Information

It is the goal of the Scholarship Committee to encourage all SMART Recovery volunteers and meeting/online participants to attend. The scholarship program is designed for individuals whose financial circumstances would prohibit their attendance.

Full Scholarship

Twelve Full Scholarships are available to help defray the cost of registration and housing associated with attendance at the SMART Recovery 2012 Annual Conference in Chicago for those who would otherwise be unable to participate in this event. The scholarship fund covers two nights of shared hotel room and a registration fee waiver. Scholarship recipients are required to share a hotel room with another scholarship recipient or attendee to help defray lodging costs.

Reduced Fee Event Scholarship

Additionally, Reduced Fee Event Scholarships ($95 vs. $125) are available to those for whom a reduced registration fee will be helpful but do not qualify for a Full Scholarship.

Who Is Eligible?

Anyone with a commitment to the SMART Recovery program is eligible to apply for a scholarship. The SMART Recovery Scholarship will be used only for the purposes of registration fee and housing related to attending the Annual Conference.
